Low Cost Primary Seal from Inagas!
Now available a simple and effective way to use PIB primary seal tape without the need for expensive equipment. It has been found that PIB is an effective barrier against gas loss for both hot melt and 2 part edge sealants.
 | The Inagas tape is a butyl rubber, two sided, self adhesive tape reinforced with a cotton mesh for stability. This unique tape has been developed for spacer bar used in insulated glass units. Technical Data Size 0.6mm x 3mm x 30m |
 | Application can be by hand or using a simple tape applicator. The applicator will take any width of spacer bar. Simply push 4 metre bar legths through the machine which will apply the butyl tape to both sides of the spacer. The bar is then cut to the required size and filled with desiccant, made into a frame and the backing paper removed.
